Headed up by Beau Williford (Manager/Trainer of 7 pro World Champions) and Deirdre Gogarty (former Undisputed World Featherweight Champion), our devoted volunteer coaches combine over 150 years of boxing experience. They are certified by the national governing body USA Boxing, overseeing Olympic style boxing in the US. This organization runs background checks and holds training clinics for coaches and officials, which are mandatory for certification. They are also required to know basic first aid and CPR.

Formed in 2005, by local attorney Glenn Armentor, to save our club from permanent closure, these bighearted volunteers refused to let this valuable outlet for troubled children go down for the count. With Beldon Fox as a crucial driving force, these committed amateur boxing enthusiasts’ are the reason the club continues to turn “at risk” youth into productive community members.
